When Miss L emailed me this image below, I knew I had to use photos of Miss P for our table numbers.
I found some inexpensive, vintage looking frames at JoAnn, and spray painted them chocolate brown to match our color palette.
At first I thought I would do something similar to this...
But then, I had the bright idea to create photoshop images like these...
These are just four of the twenty-five images I created. (To see the rest, visit my Flickr account.) I just LOVE the way they turned out. I think I could look at them over and over all day! I decided to use pictures from when she was just a pup (the youngest is at 8 weeks old) through a recent picture I took of her just a few weeks ago.
I used EZAction.com's Photoblast Acid Wash photoshop action (can be used in PSE) on all of the photos to give them a bit of an edge. Then I used the French Revolution Paper Making Tool Kit for the polka dot effect, and a brush from the Rhonna Swirly Gig Frames Brush Kit for the frame. (Both kits from Two Peas in a Bucket.) The font for the numbers is scriptina, which we also used on our invitations and other paper creations.
Once I had all of the imaged saved as Jpegs, I ordered 5x7 prints of each though Winkflash for only 25 cents each (plus shipping).
I can't wait to get them in the mail and pop them into their frames to see what the finished product will look like!
